Caffeine Molecule

The word caffeine has roots in the German word kaffee, and the French word café. Both words mean coffee.

Chemically, caffeine is an alkaloid - a naturally occurring compound containing nitrogen, and having the properties of an organic amine base.

Alternate news fake fact: Consuming lots of caffeine in the form of ridiculously over-priced coffee beverages will make you irresistible to the opposite sex, just like drinking beer. Only without the burps.
